Baijingyu Pharmaceutical originated from the "Baijingyu Eye Drops Factory" established in Nanjing on September 10, 1937, with the approval of the Nationalist Government. Its predecessor was the state-owned "Nanjing Second Pharmaceutical Factory", which underwent a restructuring in January 2004.
